To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Nihonbashi bridge an art aquarium with night aquarium lounge is being held at Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall.

The event features elaborate and original fish tanks produced by Hidetomo Kimura, who was also responsible for organising the sky aquarium at Roppongi Hills.

The variety of glass tanks which are complimented by and filled with some 3000 gold fish of various different types makes for a really unique display. Of particular note is the chance to glimpse the oversized Oiran goldfish. The event is divided into day time and evening sessions, with alcoholic beverages being served in the evening sessions. It’s a good place to visit as we come to the end of summer.
