Watanabe Shoichi Bags

Watanabe Shoichi Bags Main Image

From the hands of master Watanabe Shoichi, operating from his store in Kichijoji, come custom cycling bags of the highest calibre. These are bags made by a true artisan, with all materials being sourced from the very best available in Japan.

The leather is vegetable-tanned, drum-dyed and oil rich – made by the Tochigihikaku tannery. The Koma canvas is the heaviest-duty fabric available – water repellent waxed 22.3oz cotton duck (traditional name is grade#6) weaved in Kurashiki. For that extra Japanese touch, the bags are available with optional kimono silk lining.

All bags are hand-made by Shoichi himself and come with their own limited edition number between 1-999. All this of course comes at a premium price, but these are bags that display true craftsmanship and that will last until long after you have hung up your helmet.
