Looks like summer is here, and so is the next event!
This month we are bringing you something special. Not just one, but two of the best indie-rock-electro-nonsense nights in Tokyo at the SAME event! We are teaming up with the rather excellent Mighty Pop guys for a special night of no holds barred great music.
Daichi and the rest of the Mighty Pop collective have been destroying the dancefloors of Tokyo for the past few years with their high energy DJ sets with a crate of vinyl that would make John Peel (RIP) drool. The Mighty Pop night is one of Tokyo's best underground events and together we are bringing it to the masses.
Of course, lets not forget that you will also be getting our own roster of DJs who will be bringing a whole new bag of tricks. We'll playing something old, something new, something borrowed and something to make you lose yourself.
This one is going to be BIG so please arrive early to avoid disappointment (reduced entry for early birds!)

After last month's belter of a night, Tokyo Indie returns to serve up yet another cracker of a party at Daikanyama 'M' this month. We arrive with an eclectic mix of some of the hottest DJs on the Tokyo scene and they are ready to put M's new soundsystem through it's paces.
Along with your friends, the Tokyo Indie crew, we will be showcasing the talents of Tomo, of Tokyo Style Band fame, as well as DJ Nargiz, from the infamous Blam City electro parties in New York. As if that wasn't enough, we will also have Yone, DJ and lead guitarist from indie wonders, The Brixton Academy and Kenta Hirano from Love Action popping in to spin a tune or two for us.
Still need convincing? There'll be FREE SHOTS passed out throughout the night (at least 1 each - and more if you're good :P) And all at the cheap, cheap entry price of 1,500yen!

Flight related chaos in Europe threatened to ruin our party, with our special guests, The Sunshine Underground becoming very much the Sunshine on the ground... at Heathrow Airport. Never ones to disappoint, though we countered in style recruiting none other than the legendary, Gary 'Mani' Mounfield of Stone Roses and Primal Scream fame. It was a truly belting night - be sure to check out the photos!
