Ninja Tunes: XX
Ninja Tunes, the iconic UK dance label, celebrated 20 years in the biz
last month with a 6, count ’em, disc retrospective named XX. The disc
maps out NT’s influence on dance music since 1990 – there isn’t a
sub-genre they haven’t touched upon bar happy hardcore – with more
remixes of old classics than you can shake a stick at.
Backing up the XX launch in Japan is a 12 hour event, held on Nov 5th
in O East, featuring Eskimo, Roots Manuva, Cold Cut, Kid Koala et al.
