Tokyo Indie

Ellie Malin is a print media artist based in Melbourne. Her colourful, bold, yet simplistic works, deconstruct form and landscape into shapes and colour and draw many elements from Scandinavian design.

We recently featured her art as our flyer image for last month’s Hokuo (Nordic) music night but wanted to share some of her works here in their original form.

Her woodblock prints of mountain ranges are particularly impressive – perhaps we’ll see one of Fuji-san someday soon!
